The marathon had quite a bit more up and down running then I anticipated.........I think I knew 3:15 was out the door by 15 miles......my right Achilles and the right heel started hurting pretty good by that point also........I am pleased nonetheless......felt rather humid out there.....we got a late start.....it was supposed to start at 7:25am........this was all I had on Sunday and I will take it since I had to fight the urge several times to walk between 20 and 23 miles.....knowing the final 3 miles were DH kept me from doing that........this is one of those days that you have to take what the course gives you.....14th BQ.
