Well there it is......70K miles since January 1st, 1980.
Truth be known....it is more like 71,000-71,500 miles since I did not keep a log of my miles the first 18 months I was a runner....and some shoddy record keeping also in the mid 80s.

A side note.....some right achilles pain today.....the reason I did not time the run when a few miles into the 11 it became very clear that it was going to be a tough one....I have iced twice today and my guess is that the pain is a result of hills the last fw days and over compensation from the left hammy issue...oh...and maybe the 70,000 miles might have something to do with it.........
