Some noteworthy first or other milestones that were met in the month of August so far this month:
On August 8th I recorded 4,000.0 miles for the 365 day period from 08/09/06 through 08/08/07....first time to runn 4,000 miles in a year.....next up.....record that many in a calendar year.
On August 18th I recorded 4,015.2 miles for the period of 08/19/06 through 08/18/07.......an 11.0 a day average for that 365 day period.

My present streak is at 1,952 days....19,526.1 miles during the streak that started on 05/05/02.....or an average of 10.0 miles a day......I hit that exactly for 10.0 a day on 09/04/07.
Today I ran my 19th sub6 mile of the year.....matching 1996....only two years have been more then 19 since then.....'97 with 23 and '98 with 32.
Of course the record is 157 in 1994.
Some hot days this past weekend.....09/01/07 I ran 11 miles at 8:30 pace in 106 degrees....09/02/07 I ran 11 miles at 8:21 pace in 106 degrees and on 09/03/07 I ran 11 miles at 8:21 pace in 108 degrees.
