First day in two weeks I decided to open it up a bit for the second run.....the ankle has really got back to normal the last two days so it was time.....I have been giving some thought to doing my 20 mile mountain loop very soon....I have not done it since October of 2006....spent last year doing the 5 solo 26.2s and the 20 miler road route in December.
The mountain 20 mile loop is tough....it gains 1,500 feet the first 8 miles.....but I love that route.

Hey T,
If you decide to do the mountain loop, I expect to see some pictures for evidence. :) That is tough, I have done some elevation gain myself and it has really kicked my butt. It's nice that you have a mountain loop that goes 20 miles? Is it a road? or trails?
I think you're smart in waiting for your ankle to completely heal before taking on a task like that, better to be on the caution side.
Also, I was curious in your debut picture, what were you looking at? was that a friend? or you just checking to see how far guy that was catching up to you?
