11 miles today in 1:31:13.....8:17 pace.

Ankle acting up but a nice and relaxing run......I pray each day and the time I set aside to do that is in the last mile of my main run......now I know I talk to God each day but every once in awhile it is nice to get confirmation once again that God is talking back to me....that is why this days run was a standout......bum ankle and all.

A hectic weekend.....my mom had some medical distress starting yesterday......last night she went into the hospital where she remains at the moment....she is a strong and normally healthy 64 year old woman....yep....she is only 17 years older then me......so to see her in distress was not good....I think she will be fine though.

I am a cynical optimist.......the cup is always half full......but I want to know who in the hell drank the other half.

Besides my mother's crisis.....my son was involved in a minor car accident this morning......he is ok.....just got shook a bit......a woman made a U-turn in front of him....he hit his brakes......one of my sons friends was following behind him and rear ended him....my sons truck had minor damage but his friends Mustang was a front end total.....all were ok though....this brings me full circle to how I know when God answers my prayers and is talking back to me.......since my son began driving a few years ago....one of those things included in my daily chats with the God.......is that my son is protected as he drives.....so there......a bit of soul for you searchers.
